(PLA) Knott’s Berry Farm: All Tours (TK-12)

This event is for PLA students and their families. All grade-level requirements are strictly enforced by Knott's Berry Farm. Students may only attend the tour within their grade level. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Available Tours:
TRANSPORTATION TOUR (TK-1) - Accompanying Adult mandatory on this tour. Adult tickets cannot be shared or transferred between tours.
ENERGY IN MOTION 1 (Grades 2-3) - Accompanying Adult mandatory on this tour. Adult tickets cannot be shared or transferred between tours.
ENERGY IN MOTION 2 (Grades 4-5) - Adult accompaniment is required unless a parent/guardian is attending a different tour with a another Sage Oak student. In that case, students may be dropped off for their scheduled tour.
ENERGY IN MOTION 3 (Grades 6-12) - Adult accompaniment is required unless a parent/guardian is attending a different tour with another Sage Oak student. In that case, students may be dropped off for their scheduled tour.
Important Drop-Off Policy:
❌ We do NOT allow student drop-off at the front gate of Knott's Berry Farm
✅ Drop-off for 4th-12th grade students is only permitted inside the park at the designated tour time and location, when the parent is attending a different tour with another Sage Oak student. A parent/guardian must be on site inside the park with a valid tour ticket purchased through Sage Oak.
What students will experience:
Students will experience STEM in action at Knott’s Berry Farm! Through grade-level Transportation Tours and Energy in Motion tours, students will explore the science, technology, engineering, and math behind amusement park rides and attractions. From motion and forces to energy and engineering, students will connect classroom concepts to real-world applications—all while learning in the exciting environment of Knott’s Berry Farm. Tours, activities and concepts are tailored to each grade level.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
