1. Senior Meetings: Attend a Class of 2026 – Senior Meeting to learn about completing the Grad P.R.F. 1) post-high school plan, 2) resume and 3) FAFSA. (If you are enrolled in Senior Seminar, you will complete these in class!)
2. Grad Survey: All graduates must fill out the 2026 Grad Survey with their EA during the LP3 meeting.
3. Meet Graduation Requirements: Grads must complete and pass all graduation requirements. Please review your transcript with your EA regularly to ensure all credits are planned or accounted for.
4. Cap & Gown: Order your cap & gown and Class of 2026 merch as early as mid-October (see Josten’s info below)
3. Senior Submissions Form: Submit your grad portraits, quotes, and youth photos due by March 13th, 2026
4. Ticket Out the Door which includes a post-high school plan, resume and FAFSA . Graduates can submit all three items HERE.

TWO IMPORTANT NOTES: (1) Sage Oak graduation gowns are dark gray (even though they may show a black or silver gown stock image on the website) and are the same gowns from previous years. (2) Jostens says they will ship to the school but they will actually ship it to you.
NOTE: The cap and gown unit comes with a tassel but Jostens will give you the option of buying an additional “keepsake tassel” for $20. If you select “no thank you” you will still receive the regular tassel with the cap and gown. Just need a 2026 tassel? Order HERE.

Service is one of Sage Oak’s core values and an important way our students demonstrate their unique potential to impact their communities.The Graduate Service Award is awarded to one graduate who demonstrates this Sage Oak value through their community involvement and volunteering. The winner will give a speech at graduation, and although not guaranteed, past winners have also gotten a scholarship.
If you are a graduate and would like to nominate yourself, please fill out the 2025 Graduate Service Award form with details about how you have participated in community service and volunteer activities. Please submit the form no later than February 7th.
Help celebrate the Class of 2025 by sharing your talent! Each year, we highlight a graduate performer at the live ceremony and in our recorded ceremony. In the past we’ve had singers, singer songwriters, violinists and pianists, but we welcome all interested performers to submit their talents. If you are attending the in-person graduation and interested in sharing your talent, please fill out the Graduation Performer 2025 form and submit a sample recording/video no later than February 7th.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open on October 1st, and the deadline is March 2nd! The U.S. Department of Education uses the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for federal student aid, including low-cost loans, grants, and work-study. The FAFSA and CADAA may also determine your eligibility for state and school aid as well. Filling out a financial aid application is a graduation requirement in the state of California. The UC application for Fall is now open and can be accessed at www.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply. The submission window for UC applications is August 1st – December 1st. Applications cost $70 per campus.

Nearly 900 private universities accept the Common Application, reducing your need to complete details for every college you apply to. Application deadlines vary from school to school; however, the Common Application is currently open and can be accessed at http://www.commonapp.org.
