(PLA) Activate: Interactive Gaming Experience

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades K-12th. Children under 6 years old are not permitted to attend.
Discover the fusion of learning and fun with Activate! Join us for an exciting and interactive gaming experience where you become the player in the world's first active gaming facility. Jump, climb, problem-solve and laugh, as you and your family and friends move between challenges. Each dynamic game room has interactive technology that reacts in real time, ensuring an adrenaline-filled adventure. The hands-on, challenge-based games hit key curriculum goals while building teamwork, critical thinking, and physical wellness. Activate offers a range of games that test your physical and mental abilities. Whether you're climbing walls, solving puzzles, or dodging lasers, there's something for everyone. Key educational components of the Activate gaming experience include: Physical Education & Wellness, Literacy & Cognitive Learning, Teamwork & Collaboration, Academic & Behavioral Competencies, and Active Learning Support to target listening, attention, and self-regulation skills.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
