(PLA) Pumpkin and Farm Adventures at Peltzer Farm

This event is for TK-12th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 2 and under are free.

Experience the magic of fall while learning about agriculture, farming, and life on a working farm at Peltzer Pumpkin Farm! Students will enjoy an educational guided tour through the farm’s pumpkin, squash, and gourd gardens, where they will learn how crops are grown and harvested. Along the way, they will meet friendly farm animals in the petting farm and get a unique look at a collection of antique John Deere tractors.

Each student will receive a pumpkin to take home and a fun educational activity book to continue their learning beyond the farm. Families are encouraged to bring a lunch and enjoy time together in the shaded picnic area after the tour.

This hands-on farm experience helps students connect classroom learning to the real world while exploring agriculture, animal science, and the importance of local farming.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.

Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
