Learning Period Meetings Are Coming Up!
Learning Period 1 is wrapping up on Friday, September 18th, which means it’s almost time for your student’s first Learning Period (LP) Meeting! Education Advisors (EAs) will be reaching out to families soon to schedule these meetings and will work with you to find a time that works.
Many of these first LP Meetings will take place in person, unless your student has already met with their EA in person during August. Keep an eye out for communication from your EA with scheduling details!
Taking an AP Class This Year?
All students enrolled in an AP class must complete the Sage Oak AP Survey by Friday, September 18th — even if you do NOT plan to take the AP exam. This includes AP courses taken through Sage Oak or an outside provider.

AP Exams take place over two weeks in May 2027, and Sage Oak students must arrange to test at a local high school that accepts outside students. We recommend beginning your search for a testing location in September or early October.

Need a Little Extra Help? Join a Content Study Hall!
Did you know Sage Oak offers Content Study Halls every week? Students can drop in to work on homework, ask questions, get help from a Sage Oak teacher in a specific subject, or simply have a little extra accountability as they work.
You don’t have to be struggling to join—all high school students are welcome! Take advantage of this great resource whenever you could use a little extra support.

Career Operations Tour at Amazon Fulfillment Center
Go behind the scenes at an Amazon Fulfillment Center on Thursday, September 24th! Students will get a firsthand look at the technology, people, and processes that help fulfill and deliver customer orders while learning about operations, sustainability, and career opportunities. Students will also have the chance to ask questions throughout the tour!

Virtual High School Hangout
Can you believe we’re already a month into the school year? Celebrate making it through the first month with a Virtual High School Hangout on Friday, September 25th, from 1:30 pm – 3 pm. Relax, connect, and hang out with other Sage Oak high school students as we head into the last weekend of September!

Homecoming 2026
Lights. camera. ACTION! Join us on Saturday, October 3rd, at Chaffey College Chino Community Center for Sage Oak’s ‘Old Time Hollywood’ themed homecoming and feel like a true movie star. There will be refreshments, a photobooth, fun times, and maybe some paparazzi!

What a special way to celebrate the Class of 2027! Our seniors gathered Friday morning for our annual Senior Sunrise, spending time together and watching the sun come up on their final year of high school. We loved getting to celebrate this milestone with our seniors and kick off an exciting year of memories ahead!
