*DONATION EVENTS:
Sage Oak’s Facilities team will have curriculum and materials available at Fullerton, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, and Temecula on a first-come, first-served basis. All donated items are yours to keep and may not be returned to Sage Oak.
Friendly reminder: All Sage Oak students attending a Community Kick-Off event must be accompanied by an adult.
Photos and videos may be taken during school-sponsored events, and students may appear in group or background shots. Students without media consent will not be the main focus of photos or videos, and individuals will not be highlighted or identified without prior consent.

PAGE – Program for Advanced and Gifted Education
Sage Oak’s PAGE (Program for Advanced and Gifted Education) supports gifted, talented, and high-achieving students in grades 3rd – 8th by providing opportunities that challenge and engage advanced learners. Reach out to your child’s teacher to begin the screening process. Students previously identified as gifted and talented at another school do not need to be reassessed if their GATE identification can be verified.

Academic Corner: Math Power Standards Learning Focus Resources
This school year, we are excited to introduce version 2.0 of the Sage Oak Math Pathways web app to help K-8th grade students master essential math standards and skills.
You can find the app in your child’s Clever Student Portal. If you haven’t set up an account yet, please follow these instructions to get started.
Your child’s mission is to collect all 30 stars this school year! Watch the Math Pathways Student Video Demonstration to learn more about our digital resources and schoolwide incentive program.
Upcoming Math Fluency Check
What Families Can Expect:
This quick check reviews foundational math concepts from your student’s prior grade level (for example, a 3rd grader will complete the 2nd grade fluency check).
There is no need for your student to study ahead of time. This check provides a helpful snapshot of what they already know and highlights areas where we can offer support this year. Following the quick check, your teacher will help your family identify your math learning focus for learning period #2.

Clear for Takeoff: The High-Flying World of Aviation with Ryan Kilgore
Have you ever wondered how massive airplanes defy gravity? Join corporate pilot and mechanical engineer Ryan Kilgore as we step into the high-flying world of aviation! Over his 20-year career, Ryan has flown over 50 different aircraft, from skydiving demo flights and cargo planes to medical evacuation jets and Alaskan seaplanes.
During this interactive session, students will get a live tour inside and outside of Ryan’s airplane and participate in a hands-on physics experiment using paper to discover the science of how wings create lift!

Did you know 4th-8th grade students can get personalized writing help through Tutor.com? By logging into Tutor.com via their Clever dashboard, students can:
- Connect live with a tutor for real-time feedback and guidance at any stage of the writing process.
- Submit their work through Drop-Off Review to receive detailed, written feedback within a short timeframe.
