(PLA) Inventor’s Workshop Adventure at Pennypickle’s

This event is for TK-5th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Get ready for a hands-on STEM adventure at Pennypickle’s Workshop! Students will step into the quirky world of Professor Phineas T. Pennypickle, where science, invention, and imagination come to life through interactive exhibits and exciting discoveries around every corner.
During this special visit, students will explore the workshop’s unique rooms and gadgets while learning about the science behind everyday phenomena. As a highlight of the day, students will enjoy a live science experiment demonstration, featuring exciting reactions and scientific principles in action!
This engaging experience encourages curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of STEM through hands-on exploration. Perfect for young scientists, inventors, and curious minds who love to ask “why?” and “how?”

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
