(HS-CTE) Knott’s Scary Farm: Behind The Scenes Tour

This event is for 9th-12th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than 9th grade are NOT permitted to attend. Grade/Age limits are strictly enforced by Knott’s Berry Farm. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

The Behind-the-Scenes Knott’s Scary Farm tour offers a rare, insider look at the artistry and technical expertise behind Knott’s Scary Farm. Students will go beyond the mazes and into the working world of our creative and production teams, gaining a deeper appreciation for the immersive environments and effects that make this event unforgettable. Tours will be guided through up to four of the current mazes and learn how the different technical and artistic teams work together to make our incredible offerings as well as a chance to see our Wardrobe and Makeup divisions in action as they get the monsters ready for the night. This tour does involve graphic content as these are the actual mazes that our guests experience during the nighttime event.

Sibling Ticket (only for 9th – 12 grade, 2 and under free is NOT applicable): $85

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.

Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
