(PLA) Crystal Cove: Tide Pool Exploration

This event is for 2nd-4th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. An adult ticket is not required. Please list name of accompanying adult on the student ticket.
Join us as we explore Crystal Cove’s beautiful tidepools! A Crystal Cove interpretive naturalist will nurture students’ appreciation for nature and help to inspire in them a sense of stewardship through a classroom presentation and then a beach exploration of the tidepools. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beach after the scheduled activities. Due to capacity limitations, some accompanying adults and siblings under 6 years old may not be able to participate in the classroom portion of this field trip. Parents with babies must wait outside during the classroom portion.

WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE LAST TICKET IS SOLD.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
