(PLA) Code Ninjas: Fortnite Creators

This event is for Sage Oak students and their siblings only. All students must be accompanied by an adult.. Recommended for PLA grades 3rd–8th.
Tickets will be available November 11. 2025 at 8 am.
Sage Oak PLA Student Ticket (strictly 3rd grade & up): $23
Sibling Ticket (strictly 3rd grade & up): $23
At Code Ninjas, kids learn to code while building their own video games. They gain problem solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring environment. Join this field trip for an afternoon full of engaging coding and STEM activities.
This field trip will focus on the Fortnite Creators activity. Students will learn the basics of using Fortnite creative mode to build their own unique experiences. They will build an obstacle course and learn about level design with collisions. Students will also learn how to use Fortnite creative’s music blocks to recreate classic and custom songs.
***NOTE: Parents and younger siblings do not require a ticket and will not participate in the field trip activity but may sit nearby to observe.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
