(Oakschool/PLA) Heal the Bay Aquarium: Guided Science Exploration Activity
May 22 @ 11:45 am - 2:00 pm

(Release Date: April 13 at 8am)
This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades K-2nd.
🌊 Dive into an unforgettable ocean adventure with your fellow Sage Oak students at Heal the Bay Aquarium! This exciting 2-hour excursion is packed with hands-on exploration—touch tanks, microscopes, marine creatures, and more. A calming Mindful Moment will also be included to help students connect with nature in a meaningful way.
Students will journey through four fascinating ocean habitats, uncover wild survival adaptations, and discover how we stay connected to the natural world around us. In the lab, they’ll go on a Microscope Safari, zooming in on hidden ocean treasures and tiny creatures they’ve never seen up close. They’ll also get to explore multiple touch tanks—including a shark tank!—where they can observe and interact with real marine animals.
To top it all off, families can swing by the Heal the Bay Aquarium Shop for zero-waste goodies, plushies, ocean-themed treasures, and exclusive Heal the Bay gear.
Come explore, discover, and dive deeper into the magic of our local oceans—this is one excursion you won’t want to miss!
