🌳 News & Updates![]() Spring iReady Testing: The spring iReady is just around the corner! All students in grades 9-11th will take the iReady in math and English between Friday, May 9th and Friday, May 16th in proctored Zoom session. During those days there will be no live classes so students can prioritize completing the iReady. Students will sign up for at least one test session per day that they will attend. Once students finish both math and English sections, they do not need to attend any additional scheduled test sessions. All students should submit the Student iReady Sign Up no later than Wednesday, May 7th. Important iReady Details All 9th, 10th and 11th graders will complete the iReady Testing window is Friday, May 9th through Friday, May 16th There will be no live classes and no work assigned in Canvas May 12-May 16th Students will select at least one test session each day on the Student iReady Sign Up by Wed, May 7th ![]() Summer School: Sage Oak offers credit recovery courses over the summer for students who have received a D or F in a core class that they need to make up. Please check with your EA if you will need to participate: Two 4-week sessions: June 9th – July 3rd and July 7th – August 1st Students will work on one course at a time Most students are able to finish one semester course per 4-week session No cost to students Students who received an F in a course this school year must participate Students who would like to get ahead and take classes for advancement over the summer can sign up for classes at a transcript-producing program such as a community college, Mr. D Math, Silicon Valley HS or BYU. See more details HERE. ![]() CPR Certification: Knowing how to respond during an emergency is valuable for everyone to know, including those who babysit or work around children. We have multiple opportunities for students interested in getting hands-on training and a two-year CPR certification: 1. Our Child Development Club is hosting a CPR Certification course on Friday, May 9th from 8:45am-1pm at Brookside Park in Redlands. The cost is $50 (no IFs). Please submit this form if you are interested in attending. Only 12 spots available. 2. The Red Cross Club is also sharing a list of locations around Southern California where students can sign up to get certified along with a coupon code. Order yours HERE. 🎓 CLASS OF 2025 🎓 TO DO Ticket Out the Door Form: All graduates should be working on submitting the Ticket Out the Door form where they will list their post-high school plans and upload their resume and FAFSA. Reach out to your EA if you have questions! Due by May 30th. 🔦 Student Spotlight Welcome to our Student Spotlight where we highlight some of our amazing high school students and their accomplishments in and outside of the classroom! ![]() Sage Oak 11th grader Samantha Dayton is a shining example of our S.A.G.E. core values – Service, Achievement, Growth Mindset and Excellence. Not only has Samantha earned straight A’s in her Sage Oak classes, but she has also earned all A’s in her many college classes as well including College English, Art History and Marine Biology! In addition to her academic prowess, Samantha makes jewelry, volunteers at animal shelters, and also tutors other students. Even thought her life is very busy, she has still managed to put herself on track to graduate early as an 11th grader, meeting all of Sage Oak’s graduation requirements and College & Career Prepared Status! After high school, Samantha plans to continues to her education – and love of animals – to become a veterinarian. Congrats Samantha! |

🎓 College & Career Corner![]() Two Important Canvas Hubs For All HS Students: Did you know that right on your Canvas dashboard every high school students has access to TWO valuable hubs of information?! The HS College & Career Resources Hub and the Social & Emotional Resource Hub can be found on student Canvas dashboards right on next to your math class icon or community college shell!
