This event is for 8th Grade VLA students only. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Join your 8th. grade VLA classmates at iFLY Ontario. During the field trip, we will dive into an exciting four-hour experience that combines hands-on STEM learning with the thrill of indoor skydiving. Each student will enjoy two flight sessions with certified iFLY instructors, learning the science of aerodynamics in a fun, immersive way. Here's what the adventure includes: an interactive seminar led by a certified STEM educator, plus all the flight gear (suit, helmet, and goggles) for a safe and exciting journey in the wind tunnel. Students will rotate between activities, including a hands-on STEM lab where they'll explore the science behind flight, and, of course, their own time in the tunnel! During breaks, students can snack, watch their friends take flight, or work on a quiet activity. It’s a field trip that brings STEM to life!
Sage Oak VLA Student Ticket (VLA 8th grade only): Free
***IMPORTANT: You must reserve your 8th grade VLA student's ticket. Parents and siblings do not need a ticket and will not be able to participate in "flying", but can sit close by to observe.
***Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.

Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
