(TK VLA) Long Beach Airport Fire Station & Wardlow Park Picnic Lunch

This event is for TK VLA students and their families only. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Join your TK classmates and teachers for an exciting day at Long Beach Airport! Students will have the unique opportunity to visit the airport’s on-site Fire Department, where they will meet airport firefighters, learn about their important role in keeping the airport safe, and enjoy a special fire safety demonstration.
Along the way, students will also learn a little about the airport, careers in aviation, and the important jobs that help an airport operate each day.
After our visit, we’ll head to nearby Wardlow Park for a picnic lunch and class playdate, giving students time to connect with their classmates and enjoy the playground together.

***Due to extremely limited space, we kindly ask that only ONE parent/guardian per family attend. If multiple Sage Oak students from the same family are participating, they may attend together with a single accompanying adult.
WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE LAST TICKET IS SOLD.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
