(PLA) Wake Farms: Farm Life Exploration Tour

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades TK-8th.
Step into the fresh air and experience farm life up close! Join fellow Sage Oak students for a fun and interactive visit to a local farm, where students will meet a friendly cast of animals—including pigs, goats, sheep, a tortoise, horses, and even adorable mini donkeys.
During this 45-minute guided tour, students will stroll through the farm, learn about animal care, and explore beautiful fruit trees such as avocados, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, and more. It’s a hands-on, sensory-rich experience that brings learning to life and gives students a chance to connect with nature in a relaxed, engaging setting.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
