(PLA) Barons Market Tour

This event is for TK-8th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Students will visit Barons Market, a local neighborhood grocery store known for offering organic, natural, and specialty foods at affordable prices. During this behind-the-scenes tour, students will explore how a grocery store operates, learn how foods are sourced and labeled, and discover the importance of making healthy, budget-friendly food choices. This engaging experience connects real-world math, nutrition, and life skills—showing students that good food doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.

ALL WAITLISTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT 8AM ON JANUARY 21

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
