(PLA) UCR Botanic Gardens: Walking Tour

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades 3rd-6th. Recommended for PAGE students.
The UCR Botanic Gardens is a 40-acre living plant museum with more than 3,500 plant species and thousands of specimens from around the world, focusing on plants from Mediterranean climate and arid lands, similar to California.
We will begin with an hour-long docent-led tour which integrates 3rd-6th California state science and social studies curriculum, followed by self-guided free time to wander over four miles of scenic trails, or just relax on a bench and enjoy the beauty and vistas.
Students and siblings must be in 3rd grade or higher to attend.
Sage Oak PLA Students (3rd grade & up): $3

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases.
