(PLA) Sony Pictures Studio Tour

This event is for 4th-12th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than 4th grade are not permitted to attend (siblings included). All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Step behind the scenes of Hollywood magic on the Sony Pictures Studio Tour! Students and families will walk through one of the most iconic working studio lots in the entertainment industry during a two-hour guided tour filled with famous filming locations, legendary movie history, and exciting photo opportunities along the way.
Explore soundstages once home to blockbuster films like The Wizard of Oz, Men in Black, and Spider-Man, visit the sets of popular game shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, and keep an eye out for famous props and surprise celebrity sightings around every corner. From Walter White’s RV from Breaking Bad to the renowned Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage, this tour offers a firsthand look into the world of television and film production.
Students will also learn about careers in the arts and entertainment industry including film production, broadcasting, set design, audio engineering, cinematography, media arts, and storytelling — making this an unforgettable experience for aspiring creatives and movie lovers alike!

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
