PLA) Pasadena Playhouse: Theatre Arts Workshop & Tour

This event is for 1st-8th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than 1st grade are not permitted to attend. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Step into the spotlight at the Pasadena Playhouse! Students are invited to experience the magic of live theatre through an interactive Theatre Arts Workshop led by one of Pasadena Playhouse’s expert teaching artists. Students will explore the art of theatre through engaging activities designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, self-expression, and confidence while getting a firsthand look at what it takes to bring stories to life on stage. They will get to learn and engage spearkers and artists on what a career in theater might look like!

The experience also includes a tour of the historic Pasadena Playhouse, giving students and families a chance to explore the theatre and learn more about this iconic performing arts venue. Whether your student loves performing or is simply curious about what happens behind the curtain, this field trip offers a fun and engaging introduction to the world of theatre!

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.

Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
