(PLA only) Alta Vista Botanical Garden: Butterfly Lesson and Garden Exploration

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades K-5.
Learn about frogs and butterflies with Farmer Jones! We’ll begin with a hands-on lesson and then enjoy a garden exploration together. The Alta Vista Botanical Gardens include 14 acres on a hillside with plants, sculptures, and water features including turtles! After the field trip, families are welcome to have lunch and explore the Children’s Garden. See the website for more information.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase.
