(PLA) A Noise Within Theater: Come From Away

This event is open to 7th–12th grade PLA students. Children younger than 7th grade may not attend. Accompanying adult is optional, and students may be dropped off and picked up at the conclusion of the field trip. All accompanying adults must purchase a ticket.
The hit musical ,Come From Away, tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in a small Newfoundland town on 9/11. As fear and uncertainty give way to compassion and connection, a community opens its doors to the world. With a soaring score and deeply human storytelling, this production offers a rare opportunity to experience theater in a small intimate setting. Come From Away is a moving and uplifting celebration of kindness, resilience, and the power of coming together in extraordinary times.
This matinee performance is immediately followed by a Q&A with the cast. If you’ve ever had questions about performing on stage or a career in live theater, this is your chance to ask!

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
