(HS-CTE) Paul Mitchell: Cosmetology Career Exploration

This is a High School Career Field trip for 9th-12th grade PLA students and families only. Children younger than 9th grade may not attend.
Go behind the scenes of the beauty industry with Paul Mitchell! Students will step inside a professional cosmetology school to explore what it takes to turn creativity and a passion for beauty into a career.
During this career-focused experience, students will tour the Paul Mitchell school, explore the learning environment, and get an inside look at the training and skills involved in the world of cosmetology. Students will learn more about careers within the beauty industry, including hair styling, cutting and coloring, makeup, and other areas of professional beauty, while discovering the education and pathways available to pursue a future in the field.
From creativity and technique to working with clients and building a career, this field trip gives students a firsthand look at the many possibilities within the cosmetology industry!

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
