Learning Period 1 Schedule & Class Rosters
In your class welcome email last week, your teacher shared an adjusted schedule for the first learning period. We personalize this initial schedule by grade level to best support our students as they transition into the new school year. Teachers will reach out soon to schedule parent conferences during Learning Periods #1 and #2, allowing us to partner with you and establish a personalized support plan for the year.
Please keep in mind that class rosters may be adjusted to ensure the best support is in place for students. While we strive to maintain initial placements, teacher assignments are not finalized until Learning Period #2. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work to ensure every student has what they need to succeed.
If you have not received a welcome email from your teacher, please let us know immediately.

Local Assessment Pre-Test Window
The local assessment pre-test window will be open from August 24th through September 4th. Students in grades TK-11 will be assessed in both ELA and Math. To help us get a true, accurate snapshot of your child’s current learning level, and tailor our instruction directly to their needs, active adult supervision during testing is essential. In a virtual environment, having a parent or guardian nearby ensures students do their own independent work without digital aids or outside help. Your teacher will be reaching out to you with their specific proctoring schedule.
Once your child’s teacher shares exact testing times, please plan to have your child complete their assessment in a shared, common area of your home where a parent or guardian can actively monitor and keep them focused.

This collaboration may involve discussing teaching strategies, identifying areas of concern, and brainstorming solutions to improve language acquisition and academic success of our EL students.
- Student Advisory Committee (STAC) – Calling all 6th – 12th grade students! The STAC plays a crucial role in representing the student body and ensuring that student voices are heard in the decision-making processes of the school.
