 Onsite IT Support at the PLA Back to School SocialsWe’re excited to offer onsite IT support for school-issued devices at our PLA Back to School Socials on September 13th at select locations! Our friendly IT team will be available to assist with Chromebook updates, app access, and more. If you have any tech issues, we’re here to help—whether it’s updating a device, troubleshooting an app, or submitting a help desk ticket on your behalf. |

 Counseling Corner: Suicide Prevention DayWorld Suicide Prevention Day, observed on September 10th, is an important event aimed at raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. It encourages individuals to talk about their feelings, to seek help, and to support their peers. This day serves as a reminder that there are resources available for those struggling with mental health issues. |
| Students can reach out to trusted adults or their school counselor, or they can utilize resources such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 988 and the Crisis Text Line by texting “HELLO” to 741741. Additionally, students can receive free virtual, ongoing, and confidential coaching support from Brightlife or Soluna. The School Counseling team encourages parents to have age-appropriate conversations with their students so their loved ones know that help is just a conversation, call, or text away, and no one has to face their struggles alone. This “Know the Signs” student-created video or this poster are additional resources that could be shared with older students so they feel prepared if they ever find a friend or loved one in need.  IXL Math/ELA Annual LicensesWe are pleased to offer a limited number of annual IXL math/ELA licenses for our Personalized Learning Academy (PLA) students for the 2024-2025 school year. Licenses are $30 and can be purchased via instructional funds only – no out-of-pocket purchases allowed. Licenses will be assigned once your teacher has submitted an IXL PO and will be activated and made accessible to your student through Clever shortly thereafter. No refunds will be provided. Please contact your teacher with any further questions. |
