🌳 News & Updates![]() Spring iReady Testing: Spring iReady testing is happening this week! There will not be live classes and students in grades 9-11 should attend the proctor sessions they sign up for each day until the English and math portions are completed. On the iReady Proctor Schedule, student will select the correct day’s tab, find the row for the first letter of their last night and the column for the correct time slot and click the Zoom link for the EA who is proctoring. ![]() Cameras will need to be on for testing, but students will be in Focus Mode so they won’t be able to see each other. **NOTE** Students enrolled in Essential English 1, Essentials English 2, Essential Pre-Algebra or Essential Algebra will attend their regularly schedule live sessions and work on the iReady in those classes. Important iReady Details All 9th, 10th and 11th graders will complete the iReady Testing window is Friday, May 9th through Friday, May 16th There will be no live classes and no work assigned in Canvas May 12-May 16th Students will select at least one test session each day on the Student iReady Sign Up by Wed, May 7th NEW The Zoom iReady proctor schedule will be sent on Thursday by your EA ![]() Summer School: Sage Oak offers credit recovery courses over the summer for students who have received a D or F in a core class that they need to make up. Please check with your EA if you will need to participate: Two 4-week sessions: June 9th – July 3rd and July 7th – August 1st Students will work on one course at a time Most students are able to finish one semester course per 4-week session No cost to students Students who received an F in a course this school year must participate Students who would like to get ahead and take classes for advancement over the summer can sign up for classes at a transcript-producing program such as a community college, Mr. D Math, Silicon Valley HS or BYU. Order yours HERE. 🎓 CLASS OF 2025 🎓 LAST CALL Cap and Gown: If you didn’t order your cap and gown yet, there is still time! Use this link and be sure to order by Friday to ensure delivery before graduation. Colleges STILL Accepting Applications! If you’ve decided you DO want to apply to a 4-year college, it’s not too late! There are many colleges that are still accepting applications for Fall 2025. Check out the list updated daily HERE! TO DO Ticket Out the Door Form: All graduates should be working on submitting the Ticket Out the Door form where they will list their post-high school plans and upload their resume and FAFSA. Reach out to your EA if you have questions! Due by May 30th. Items to Return: All graduates will need to return their Chromebook and any other non-consumable items purchased with instructional funds during their time with Sage Oak. Students attending the graduation ceremony can bring them that day to return. Students not attending graduation will need to coordinate with their EA. ![]() Senior Sunset: Come celebrate the end of high school with our Class of 2025 Senior Sunset! 🔦 Student Spotlight Welcome to our Student Spotlight where we highlight some of our amazing high school students and their accomplishments in and outside of the classroom! ![]() When Sage Oak 9th grader Kylee Goodwin Cloonan is not working on her high school classes, you can find her practicing with her gymnastics team or crocheting an adorable figurine. She is a gifted gymnast and practices for several hours every week to prepare for team competitions. In addition to being a dedicated athlete, Kylee expresses her creativity through her love of crocheting. Her projects are always fun and colorful. After high school, Kylee hopes to pursue a career in the medical field by attending UC Davis. Keep up the great work, Kylee! |
📆 Events & Activities HS EVENTS TODAY 💻 CSUSB Computer Science and Math Tour: Join us as we tour one of the Inland Empire’s hidden tech gems, Cal State San Bernardino! The tour will take place on May 12th from 11:00 to 12:00. We will tour the Computer Science and Math buildings as well as a general tour of the campus. Sign up HERE to attend! NEW UCLA Campus Tour: High school students are invited to tour the UCLA campus on Wednesday, May 28 at 2:45 PM. The guided tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and will involve lots of walking – comfortable shoes are highly recommended! Please plan ahead to account for LA traffic and parking delays.
