Look for it every week!![]() Upcoming Important Dates: March 16 26/27 Master Agreement Window Opens March 18 CTE Cinema Makeup School March 20 Newport Bay Outrigger & Kayak Tour March 20 P2 Attendance 🗓️ 25-26 Academic Calendar P2 Attendance Three times a year, California schools are required to submit average daily attendance to the California Department of Education (CDE). The second principal apportionment (P2) takes place in March. In order to meet the deadline, we are required to have all Learning Logs for LP7 signed by parents the morning of Friday, March 20th. This means that work samples and work completion will be verified earlier than other months. If your student is behind on their work, now is a great time to make a strong push to get caught up. Your student’s EA will be reaching out to review the plan for P2 Attendance so you can be well prepared. Thank you in advance for your support! 26/27 Master Agreement Window It’s time to sign your 2026–2027 Master Agreement! The signing window opens today, March 16. Your Education Advisor (EA) will work with you during your upcoming Learning Period Meeting to pre-select courses for next year and complete the Master Agreement together! Share Your Feedback – CTE Programs The CTE Parent Feedback link will be available starting next Monday, March 23! Your feedback is very valuable in shaping future CTE Pathways so please take a few moments to share your thoughts when the survey opens. NEW Events! This week, Sage Oak High School is celebrating… 🌟Natilee Prince (11th Grade)🌟 ![]() Natilee is a dedicated and accomplished athlete who recently earned MVP in her all-ages softball league (ages 14–18), a sport that has been a meaningful part of her life for many years. She also has a passion for working with children and hopes to become a kindergarten teacher, something reflected in her experience dressing as Disney princesses for children’s birthday parties and her natural ability to connect with kids. As we prepare for the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony, we’d love to feature our amazing Sage Oak alumni in our “Sage Advice” video segment! This special video includes short clips of alumni sharing what they’re doing now and offering advice or encouragement to our graduating seniors. If you or someone you know would be interested in participating, here’s what to do: Record a short video on your phone or Zoom in landscape mode Share your name, graduation year, and what you’re doing now (college, career, etc.) Include how Sage Oak helped prepare you for the future or your advice for the Class of 2026 Keep your video to about 30 seconds Please submit your video to the Sage Advice Video Submission Form by April 3rd. Thank you in advance—we’re excited to see what our alumni have been up to! 🎟️ Graduation Tickets Each graduate will receive 5 tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremony. (Note: The graduate does not use one of the tickets.) All graduates and their families attending the in-person ceremony must complete the Graduation Guest Ticket Requests form. Please submit the form once per family to indicate: if you will use your 5 allotted tickets if you need fewer than your 5 allotted tickets if you want the 5 tickets AND are requesting additional tickets (PLEASE NOTE: Our ability to issue additional tickets will depend completely on whether other families need all 5 of their tickets) This form is due by Friday, March 27th! Steelman Bragato Scholarship The California Charter Schools Association is awarding ten scholarships of $2,000 each to graduating seniors from CCSA member charter schools – including Sage Oak! This scholarship honors Susan S. Steelman Bragato, a pioneer of California’s charter school movement, and celebrates the diversity of charter school students. Chicano Park: Mural & Photography Walk Thursday, March 26 Join us for a walk around Chicano Park in San Diego, which boasts the largest concentration of Chicano murals in the world (over 100 paintings)!
