(HS-CTE) Cinema Makeup School Tour

This event is for 9th-12th grade (HS ONLY) PLA students and their families. Children younger than 9th grade are not permitted to attend. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Take your students behind the scenes of Hollywood’s creative world with a guided tour of Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles — one of the top professional makeup training schools for film, television, fashion, and entertainment artistry. Students will get an inside look at the campus, see students and instructors in action, and learn about the exciting careers in beauty makeup, special effects, prosthetics, airbrush artistry, and character design. This immersive experience is designed to inspire creativity, introduce real-world industry skills, and spark curiosity in students considering artistic and entertainment career paths. Tours are available by appointment and can be tailored to high school groups to enrich arts education and career exploration.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
