This week, Sage Oak High School is celebrating… 🌟Maryam Fazlani (9th Grade)🌟 ![]() A proud and well-rounded Sage Oak student, Maryam exemplifies academic excellence, creativity, and leadership. She shines in English literature and art while successfully managing a rigorous schedule of Honors and dual enrollment community college courses. Her dedication to learning is matched by her strong work ethic and clear focus on her future goals. Beyond the classroom, Maryam is an active member of the Junior Honor Society and Girl Scouts, where she demonstrates both scholarship and leadership. She is currently publishing a meaningful collection of stories from cancer survivors—an inspiring project that reflects her compassion and initiative. Maryam also dedicates significant time to equestrian vaulting, training regularly for local competitions, and participates in figure skating—both of which require remarkable discipline and commitment. In her free time, she enjoys painting as a creative outlet and a way to express herself artistically. After graduation, Maryam plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in psychology before attending law school to become a public defender. She hopes to combine her understanding of human behavior with legal training to advocate for individuals in criminal cases and promote fairness within the justice system.
