🌳 News & Updates![]() THIS WEEK CAASPP Testing: All 11th graders will participate in CAASPP testing in English, math and science on April 14-17 and April 22. Students will need to be available from 9-10:45am and 11:15-1pm during those days for online testing with their Sage Oak Chromebook. All Sage Oak live class sessions are recorded and can be viewed in the Canvas Recording module. ![]() 25-26 Master Agreements: All students continuing with Sage Oak should have a 25-26 Master Agreement signed by parent, student and EA by this Friday. Please reach out to your EA if you have not received one by Wednesday. ![]() Child Development Club Comfort Drive: The Child Development Club is having a Comfort Drive for Loma Linda Children’s Hospital collecting stuffed animals, blankets, pillows and more. Order yours HERE. 🎓 CLASS OF 2025 🎓 ![]() TO DO Graduation Tickets: All graduates and their families should submit the Graduation Guest Ticket Request form once by Friday, April 25th. See the Graduation Ticket FAQ for additional details. -All grads will receive 6 tickets for guests. -If you do not need 6 tickets, you may request fewer tickets. -If you are hoping for additional tickets, you can request on the form. We will only be able to issue extra tickets if others don’t request all of their tickets. We are hoping to let families know by May 2nd if we can issue additional tickets. ![]() WEDNESDAY Resume Workshop– If you haven’t finished (or, gulp, started!) your resume for your Ticket Out the Door, join Ms. Coral this Wednesday at 1pm for her final resume workshop of the year! classes! 🔦 Student Spotlight Welcome to our Student Spotlight where we highlight some of our amazing high school students and their accomplishments in and outside of the classroom! ![]() Sage Oak 11th grader Brianna Proger has achieved much academic and personal success during her 2.5 years at Sage Oak! A competitive dancer, she demonstrates admirable time and task management skills to earn straight A’s while taking and teaching dance classes several times per week. Brianna uses instructional funds to pay for dance lessons while earning credit for Work Experience by teaching dance lessons to 4-6-year-olds. Sage Oak’s Intro to Art, Media, and Entertainment class nurtured her love of using technology to create artistic projects like on TikTok where she has tens of thousands of followers who enjoy her edits of favorite movies and shows. One of them got over 6.4 million views! Brianna is excited about a possible career in marketing and hopes to continue dancing in college. |
