(PLA) SEACAMP San Diego: Tidepool Exploration

This event is for 1st-12th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than 1st grade or 6 years of age are not permitted to attend. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Dive into a full day of marine science with SEACAMP San Diego! Students will explore San Diego’s coastal environment through a hands-on tidepool experience, discovering local marine life and learning about the unique ecosystems found along our shoreline.
IMPORTANT FIELD TRIP INFORMATION: This is an ALL-DAY field trip experience from 11:00 AM–3:30 PM and takes place at two separate locations. Families will check in at the designated location for Part 1 of the program and will then drive to a secondary location for Part 2 of the tidepool exploration.
A parent chaperone is required to attend and is responsible for providing transportation for their student between both field trip locations. Transportation is not provided.
All participants must also bring a packed lunch to enjoy during the field trip. Please come prepared to participate in the full program from 11:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
