This event is for 1st-3rd grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Visit the Helen Woodward Animal Center for a fun-filled experience where "people help animals and animals help people"! Students will explore different habitats and discover the types of animals that live in each one. They will also get to meet four animals and participate in a STEM activity. Animal interactions may include a goat, leopard gecko, parrot, and beetle.
Student Ticket: $16
Sibling Ticket: $16
Adult Ticket: $8
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
ALL WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AT 8 AM ON SEPTEMBER 3RD.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
