This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades TK-12th.
Did you know Corona was once known as the Lemon Capital of the World? Step into the story of our local community with a guided tour of the Corona Heritage Park & Museum!
Led by a knowledgeable guide, students will journey through Corona’s fascinating past while exploring historic artifacts, photographs, exhibits, and stories that bring local history to life. Along the way, students will learn about Corona’s famous citrus industry, mining and agriculture, early transportation, and the people and industries that helped shape the city** into the community we know today.
The guided experience will also take students through the beautiful Heritage Park grounds, including its historic citrus grove and gardens, giving them a chance to connect what they’re learning to pieces of Corona’s history still preserved today.
Come uncover the stories hiding right in our own backyard and discover Corona in a whole new way!
Sage Oak Student Ticket: $3

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
