(PLA) Anaheim Ducks: First Flight

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades 3rd-6th. All non-infant children require a ticket.
For the First Flight field trip, students and families will make their way to Honda Center to "Light the Lamp". Students will work on their "Hockey Homework" as they watch the Anaheim Ducks practice. Then the Ducks become the teachers! Knowing how to "Light the Lamp" takes more than than hockey skills. It will require an understanding of how electricity works and completing a circuit that will take students from the classroom to the ice rink.

ALL WAITLISTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT 8AM ON JANUARY 21st.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
