We can help by fostering belonging, teaching calming techniques, and connecting students with resources when they feel overwhelmed. If you or someone you know needs support, call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline—free, confidential help is available 24/7. The Lifeline’s #BeThe1To movement outlines five straightforward steps to help recognize signs of distress and effectively support a loved one in a time of crisis, which can be life-saving. For more information, resources, or guidance, please reach out to our School Counselors at counselingteam@sageoak.education.
