Happy New Year Virtual Learning Academy!  We hope you had an AMAZING winter break and enjoyed your time off! We only have two weeks left of the first semester. Let’s finish strong! Corey is a former Harlem Globetrotter and an 8-time Guinness World Record Holder! Corey set out to be the “Greatest Dribbler in the World” by practicing his ball handling day and night. Field TripsOur grade level trips, Ontario Clippers night, Huntington Beach service trip, and end-of-the-year social are still available for sign ups! Oakschool Ordering Deadline 1/17Oakschool quarter 3 is going to be here before we know it! Please use the links below to sign up for all of our available classes. These classes will start on Monday, January 29th. For all classes: ensure as you are signing up that the class times are outside of Virtual Learning Academy live instruction, office hours, and small group times. Sign up by Wednesday, January 17th for the Virtual Academy to purchase the class supplies. Oakschool Schedule and VLA ENROLLMENT FORM Oakschool Art Schedule and VLA ART ENROLLMENT FORM Counseling Corner Our Tk-8th grade counselor, Ms. Allie, teaches live SEL classes every Monday. She will also be offering a new Oakschool course celebrating perseverance and you can sign up your students in grades 2nd-3rd and grades 4th-5th now! You can always check out the Counseling Classroom for social-emotional, academic development, and college/career resources, or make an appointment to speak with Ms. Allie.  Cultivate and Create Contest Our annual performing and visual arts contest, Cultivate and Create, is happening now! We would love for our students to participate! Check out this information document for specific contest details, including the survey link to upload student entries. All entries must be received by Friday, January 26th.
