![]() College and Career Week: It’s almost here! Next week, October 23-27th, we will be hosting a variety of exciting opportunities to engage students in college and career-related activities. Sign up for webinars or virtual college explorations, guest speakers, and in-person college tours! Students can also check out teacher Zoom backgrounds that share their wide variety of college journeys and participate in ice breakers and other in-class activities to connect the content they are learning in their courses to college and career pathways. Check out all the events below! ![]() CP Oversight Classes: We are excited that we are able to offer students so many different options for taking classes! If your student is attending an in-person community provider for a core subject, they will also be enrolled in our CP Oversight class in Canvas. That course is managed by a teacher credentialed in the subject area to provide oversight for the curriculum and content standards provided by in-person CPs. In order to earn high school credit for the course, students taking courses this way will need to: 1. Upload a copy of the course syllabus to Canvas for approval. 2. Provide a way for the oversight teacher to access the entire body of work and gradebook by either sharing a login or adding all of the work and a gradebook to a shared Google folder for the teacher to access. 3. One work sample per week will be uploaded into Canvas. Thank you for helping us continue to offer a variety of ways for students to learn! Disabled Google Accounts: We understand the frustration that can occur when your Google account gets disabled. The #1 reason this happens is international travel or using a VPN (virtual private network) and connecting to a server outside of the US. – If you will be traveling outside of the US, please let you EA know so they can submit an International Travel form to our IT department. – Using a VPN? Please connect to a server within the US to avoid account deactivation. Thank you!
