![]() Spring iReady Testing – Friday, May 10th to Friday, May 17th: All students – except 12th graders – will take the spring iReady this week. Both the math and English assessments must be completed by May 17th. – Proctor Schedule: All 9-11th graders should plan to attend at least 1 test session per day until the tests are complete. See the schedule HERE to plan out when you will attend.There will be no live classes for in-house classes from May 10-May 17th so students can complete the iReady – Cameras will need to be on during testing, but proctors will use Zoom’s Focus Mode so students cannot see each other. New Classes for 2024-25: We are excited to add the following new in-house classes for the 24-25 school year! – HISTORY: US History Through Film, Geography (for World History or elective credit) – MATH: Mr. D Calculus, Computer Science for math credit – SCIENCE: Life Science, Science Olympiad elective – ART: AP Art + 3 new art electives to be announced – ELECTIVE: CTE Business elective, Child Development 2, AVID 9 Meet Soluna: We get it – high school can be hard. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Sage Oak Counseling department invites students to download and explore Soluna, California’s free, confidential mental health app for students ages 13-25. Soluna includes a wide variety of mental health resources and tools so that you can find the support that’s right for you!– Interactive tools: Use the Thought Shaker, Mood Log, Starboard and more to destress, find calm and reset– Soluna coaches: Chat with a professional for personalized, 1:1 guidance– Unique content: Explore quizzes, text chats, swipeable activities…and even grocery shopping with Tiny Hands– Your digital journal: Vent your feelings, jot down ideas or draft big dreams– Breathing exercises and meditations: Relax and unwind your mind, whether for an hour or just 3 minutesIt’s 100% free, doesn’t have ads, and is available 24/7 to help you deal with whatever life is dishing out. Download here. ![]() 23-24 HS Yearbook: We are down to the final weeks to order your Sage Oak 2024 Yearbook! All graduate headshots will be included! Class of 2024 Updates All graduation information can be found on the Class of 2024 Graduation Central. Graduation Tickets: All families attending graduation were emailed on Friday with the number of tickets issued. Exact seating assignments will be sent in the next two weeks. FAFSA: All graduates will need to ensure they have filled out the FAFSA or an opt-out form. Contact HS Counselor Coral if you need help. Senior Sunset: Let’s celebrate the final rays of your high school days! COLLEGE TOURS UCLA Tour + Class Visit: Go Bruins! EA Drew has set up a very special campus tour of UCLA plus an opportunity to tour the Archeology department with the department head AND sit in on a class! Monday, May 20th 9:30 am-1 pm. Student sign up here. HS EVENTS Koroneburg Renaissance Festival: AllPOs should be submitted for the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival field trip on May 25th 10am-1pm in Corona. Students must submit the sign up form as well. End of Year HS Beach Party Bonfire: Grab your flipflops and join us to celebrate the end of school! Meet at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach on Friday May 31st 3-8:45pm for food, friends and a bonfire! We’ll bring the wood; you bring snacks and s’mores supplies. Sign up here!
