Spring SAT Registration: While many colleges went test-optional or test-blind in the last few years, there are a number of colleges that still require the SAT or ACT. (And some that are bringing it back!) If you are interested in taking the SAT this spring, visit the College Board website to find a test site near you, register and pay.Register by Feb 23rd —- for the March 9th SATRegister by April 19th —- for the May 4th SATRegister by May 16th —- for the June 1st SATFind out more about the new digital SAT here or access to free SAT practice tests on Khan. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): All 9th graders must complete the PFT no later than March 22nd. Your EA will be in touch with more details on how and when to complete this required school assessment. Each year, we award one student with our Graduate Service Award. The student will get to speak at graduation and in past years, has been awarded a scholarship! Nominate yourself HERE by March 1st. Due March 1st – Grad Photos & Quotes: The Senior Submissions form is open for all grads to submit baby pics, headshots and senior quotes. Please submit even if you won’t be attending the live ceremony! Other Graduate To-Dos: Please make sure you’re making progress on these graduate to-dos! Fill out the FAFSA: ALL grads. Access grants, scholarships, loans and more for college! Due April 2nd. Once you have submitted, upload a screenshot of your confirmation here. Order you cap & gown: Grads attending ceremony only. Cap & gown only / 2024 tassel only (if using a siblings cap & gown) / graduation cap & gown packages Grad Night 2024: Tickets for Disney’s Grad Night Party are only on sale for the next month! Enjoy a full day at Disneyland and then an exclusive nighttime celebration for Class of 2024 at Disney’s CA Adventure filled with thrilling attractions, spectacular shows and magical surprises! Join EA Jared Tourse and some of his High Desert students on Friday, February 23rd from 2-4pm for some bowling fun at Victor Bowl in Victorville! Student sign up here. Museum of Latin American Art: This field trip has been rescheduled to Thursday, Feb. 29th from 11am – 1pm! Students will get a tour of the museum exhibits and then participate in a hands-on art workshop learning to draw superheroes with a Netflix animator! $12 out of pocket for students / parents can attend for free. Student sign ups here Park Clean Up: Join the ASB Volunteer Committee on March 22nd at 11:30am at Red Hill Community Park in Rancho Cucamonga to help the community in a park clean up!
