Oakschool Quarter 2 Enrollment
We are so excited to announce that we recently added 19 new art classes to our Oakschool schedule for Quarter 2! Enrollment is open for all classes and offerings can be viewed on both our master schedule and course catalog. Quarter 2 classes will begin in just a few weeks on Monday, October 21st. We hope you will take advantage of this amazing opportunity for your students to explore both core and enrichment topics!

Boost Your Child’s Confidence in ELA with Key Vocabulary!
Mastering English Language Arts (ELA) is about more than just reading and writing. Understanding the vocabulary used in assignments and directions is crucial for success. To help your child excel, we’re offering an ELA Vocabulary Word List filled with key terms they need to know. These words frequently appear in reading passages, writing prompts, and directions, so familiarizing your child with them will strengthen their comprehension and communication skills.

![]() IXL Math/ELA Annual Licenses Act now if you’re interested! We only have a few remaining IXL math/ELA licenses for our Personalized Learning Academy (PLA) students for the 2024-2025 school year. Licenses are $30 and can be purchased via instructional funds only – no out-of-pocket purchases allowed. Licenses will be assigned once your teacher has submitted an IXL PO and will be activated and made accessible to your student through Clever shortly thereafter. No refunds will be provided. New Field Trip Opportunity for 6th-12th Graders!
We are excited to announce a new field trip opportunity for PLA and VLA 6th-12th graders at Garner Holt Education Through Imagination: Tour and STEAM Activity on Friday, October 25th. This is a career exploration field trip celebrating the creative and technical process of producing animatronics from start to finish and highlighting a wide range of careers across the creative industries. Hamilton Tickets – Last Chance!
There are just a few days left to claim your tickets to see Hamilton at the Pantages Theater on Thursday, October 10th at 1 pm. High school students can attend this as a drop-off field trip, chaperoned by Sage Oak Education Advisors and VLA students and their families are welcome to join as well.

Living History Events & Socials
Join Sage Oak friends and teachers at one of our history-themed Socials this November, featuring Living History projects from Sage Oak students! Everyone is invited to attend the Socials which will feature interactive historical crafts and activities, as well as Curriculum Swaps and Tech Support at select locations.
Living History Day informational Zoom sessions will be offered on
October 10th at 9 am and October 21st at 12 pm.

Middle School Hangout at Lazer Legacy – Yucaipa
Our next Middle School Hangout is coming up SOON on October 25th at 3 at Lazer Legacy in Yucaipa. Wear your Halloween costume!! Families must fill out the Hangout Form (please make sure within the form you also complete the permission slip and sign the Lazer Legacy Waiver to attend. You can choose between 1-3 games from $9 to $21. Come join the fun!
Future Ambassador Students Volunteer Hours Available
Future Ambassador students can earn volunteer hours at Sage Oak events, including theLiving History events on 11/8 and 11/15, socials, and more! If you are a future ambassador, please inquire with your ASB teacher about these events.
