Suicide Prevention Awareness Month September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. The CDC reports that suicide is the third leading cause of death in young people ages 15 to 24. Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone, and while common, they should not be considered normal.
The Suicide Prevention Awareness campaign encourages people to use their voices to bring awareness to mental health by sharing information to prevent suicidal behavior and death by suicide. Please click below for resources:

OnWednesday, September 7th, the Field Trips & Events preview window will open on theSage Oak websitegiving Personalized Learning Academy (PLA) K-8 and High School students a chance to preview field trips that will be coming up in September and October.
OnMonday, September 12 at 12:00 pm, the cart will open and you will have three days to purchase tickets. Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) field trips will be listed separately under the VLA category.

Executive Functioning Class: Let’s talk about planning, staying organized, and how we can help students manage their time, set goals, and reflect on their learning.
Social Emotional Learning Class: How do we become our best selves? Students will gain self-awareness and the ability to clearly communicate their feelings, wants, and needs.
Social Skills Small Group: Learn how to build friendships, get along with others, listen attentively, work collaboratively, and recognize non-verbal cues.
Stress/Anxiety Small Group: We will help students process their worries, find healthy coping skills, and give them a sense of accomplishment about getting through them.
We will share student quick tips, live and recorded parent workshops (including high school specific!), and self-paced lesson content for each learning period. Are we missing something?
