Counseling Corner Every September, the Suicide Crisis Lifeline and various mental health organizations work together to increase awareness about suicide. The month-long campaign centers around the hashtag #BeThe1To, a call to action encouraging preventative measures against suicide. For parents, this annual reminder is a great time to revisit proactive strategies that foster mental wellness within our families such as the ones shared here. |
If your child or a loved one is struggling with mental health concerns, we urge you to support them in getting the professional help they need. Our virtual counseling classroom includes suicide prevention and mental health information that will give you the necessary tools to take those critical initial steps. If you have questions about suicide prevention or mental health awareness, please contact your Sage Oak Counselors. We look forward to hearing from you! |
