End-of-Year Promotions & Socials Please RSVP for Sage Oak’s Kindergarten/5th/8th grade Promotions & End-of-Year Socials, held onFriday, June 9th! Promotion ceremonies will be held for our PLA Kindergartners, 5th graders, and 8th graders. RSVPs are for venue capacity purposes – no physical tickets will be issued.
Sage Oak will provide graduation caps to all promoting kindergartners. End-of-Year Socials will include fun activities and time to meet with your teacher. If you are not sure which location your child’s teacher is attending, please ask your teacher prior to RSVPing for a specific location.
VLA students are welcome to attend, but will have their own promotion ceremonies will be held virtually during class time onThursday, June 8th.

Curriculum/Materials Donation Events – Murrieta & Simi Valley Socials We will be hosting a curriculum donation event at the upcoming End of the Year Socials in Murrieta & Simi Valley. School-owned items will be available to our families! Items may include textbooks, art supplies, workbooks, instruments, P.E. equipment, and more!
Items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note technology items are excluded. All items are considered donations and cannot be returned to Sage Oak for any reason. Donation events are open to all Sage Oak families! We expect high attendance of families at these events so please be mindful of others. Facilities staff will be present to help with participation. Visit our table at the End of the Year Socials in Murrieta and Simi Valley onFriday, June 9th starting at 12 pm.
Select Curriculum Review Committee – K-8th grade curriculum Our K-8th grade Select Curriculum lists have been in place for almost a year and we would love to get feedback from teachers and parents/guardians alike.
Our goal is to revisit the K-8th grade Select Curriculum lists multiple times per year in order to keep the curriculum options rigorous, accessible, and up-to-date. All meetings will be held virtually. We’ll finalize our 23/24 meeting schedule after the start of school. If you have feedback to give, we’d love to hear from you!
Our first meeting will take place onTuesday, June 13th from 11 am – 12 pm.
