Each week, we highlight a Sage Oak High School student nominated by their Education Advisor. This week, Sage Oak High School is celebrating…
🌟Yasmin Suleman (11th Grade)
Yasmin has taken full advantage of the flexibility and opportunities available through Sage Oak. Several years ago, she began using instructional funds to participate in fencing classes alongside her PE coursework, and she has continued to excel in the sport ever since. Today, she regularly competes in fencing competitions while balancing her academic responsibilities.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Yasmin has been actively involved in the Muslim Student Association (MSA), participated in our Catalina trip, and pursued concurrent enrollment through a ceramics course at her local community college. She does an outstanding job staying on top of her studies while making time for her passions and interests outside of school. We are proud of the dedication, balance, and enthusiasm Yasmin brings to both her academics and extracurricular activities!
