This week, Sage Oak High School is celebrating 10th grader, Korean Spencer! Korean has been dancing since the age of two, turning a natural love of movement into a powerful form of self-expression. Specializing in contemporary and lyrical dance, she is known for her determination, strong work ethic, and commitment—training nearly 40 hours a week at the same studio she’s called home throughout her dance journey. Dance has also shaped her community, with many of her closest friendships formed in the studio. An AVID and dual enrollment student, Korean excels academically while balancing an intensive dance schedule. Sage Oak’s flexibility has allowed her to pursue both her education and dance career successfully. Looking ahead, she hopes to compete on a college dance team at USC, SDSU, or the University of Minnesota, while exploring future paths in broadcast journalism or interior design. ![]() High School Course Selection for College Admission Check out these slides for the ultimate guide to high school course selection for competitive college admission.
