This event is for Kindergarten VLA students and their families only. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

The La Habra Children's Museum features seven galleries with dozens of hands-on exhibits, many of which remain unique to the field today. In addition to these exhibits, an outdoor dinosaur garden, and historic 1942 caboose, the Museum features an seasonal exhibits. Our tour will include an hour tour through the galleries and a 3o minute discovery activity themed around "California Critters".
Due to capacity limitations in the musem, you will be assigned to a tour time beginning at 10:00 am, 10:30 am, or 11:00 am.
Please keep in mind that space is extremely limited and this field trip is a chance for your VLA student to BOND with their fellow grade level classmates. In order to keep the focus on our students, please limit your tickets to TWO adults per VLA student unless absolutely necessary.
All children, including infants in strollers, must purchase a ticket. Infants being carried do not require a ticket.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
ALL WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AT 8 AM ON SEPTEMBER 3RD.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
