Join your 1st grade class on the Animal Exploration Education Program followed by a self-guided tour of the Aquarium of the Pacific
Animal Exploration Education Program (Approx 30 min): Get your hands wet in this 30-minute, educator-led animal touch experience. After a brief introduction, students will explore the unique characteristics of our classroom tidepool animals and even have a chance to touch them.
The Aquarium of the Pacific is a fun and educational experience for families. In addition to the three main galleries highlighting the major regions of the Pacific, the Aquarium features exhibits outdoors, including Shark Lagoon, the Lorikeet Forest Aviary, and Our Water Future.
Please keep in mind that space is extremely limited and this field trip is a chance for your VLA student to BOND with their fellow grade level classmates. In order to keep the focus on our students, please limit your tickets to ONE adult per VLA student unless absolutely necessary. You may purchase a maximum of two additional tickets per VLA student if needed, but they may not be able to attend the classroom portion of the field trip.
