(PLA) Urbane Cafe Tour: Simi Valley

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades TK-8th.
Visit Urbane Cafe for a delicious day out and a fun hands-on restaurant experience! Students will tour the scratch kitchen, learn about healthy eating, help bake Urbane Cafe's signature bread, and even try taking orders at the register! It's educational, memorable, and delicious. And the best part is...no one leaves hungry! All students will receive two slices of Urbane Cafe's cheese pizza. Parents are welcome to purchase their own lunch. Students will be awarded with a certificate recognizing them as junior managers and inviting them back for a free kids meal.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
