(PLA) Ronald Reagan Presidential Library: Self Guided Tour

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades TK-12th.
Explore presidential history at the Ronald Reagan Library with Sage Oak friends. This self guided tour will walk you through the life and legacy of Ronald Reagan from his childhood, to college athletics, to Hollywood, to becoming Governor of California, and eventually the President of the United States. In eighteen galleries, you will see fascinating artifacts and engage in multiple interactive displays for a fully immersive experience on the life and times of America's 40th president. Learn about life in the White House, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the First Lady legacy of Nancy Reagan.

- Stepping aboard Air Force One that served seven U.S Presidents including Nixon, Carter, Ford, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush.
- Oval Office Replica
- Fragment of the Berlin Wall
- F17 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter
- M1 Abrams tank, Marine One helicopter, F14 plane
- Memorial site of Ronald and Nancy Reagan

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
