(PLA) Redlands Pottery Project: Handbuilding Class

This event is for PLA students ONLY. This is a student drop-off field trip chaperoned by Sage Oak Staff. Recommended for PLA grades 3rd-8th.
Students will enjoy a 90-minute hands-on pottery experience at Redlands Pottery Project, where they will learn the basics of hand-building techniques using clay. Guided by skilled instructors, students will explore methods such as shaping, joining, and texturing clay to create their own ceramic piece. This workshop encourages creativity, fine-motor skills, and artistic expression in a welcoming studio environment.
Sage Oak Student Ticket: $55
Sibling Ticket: $55
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
