(PLA) Port of Los Angeles Harbor Boat Tour

This event is for 4th-12th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than 4th grade are not permitted to attend. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
The Port of Los Angeles offers free boat tours of the harbor, providing a glimpse into the bustling activity of America's busiest port! This exciting boat tour offer insights into the history of the port, the dynamics of international trade, and the environmental aspects of port operations. Tours are approximately 60 minutes long. Departing from San Pedro, you’ll venture out to the Outer Harbor and see some of the largest container ships in the nation and the Vincent Thomas Bridge up close. Hopefully you’ll even see a barking sea lion or two!

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
ALL WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AT 8 AM ON SEPTEMBER 3RD.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
